Glitches?

I'm just curious if anyone else has had any problems with their phone? I got it 6 days ago and I'm already wondering if something is wrong with it. For example, the navigation freezes up regularly. One time the whole phone wigged out while I was trying to use it and made an awful noise like radio static. I just had to turn the phone off and restart it. Also, I have always had good service with sprint in my area but with this phone I notice that I don't have service a lot and a lot of calls are going straight to my voicemail. Another problem I'm having is trying to connect my phone to the media manager. My phone shows it's connected but the program is telling me I'm not. That could just be a problem with my computer but it's frustrating! I'm not sure if I should take it back or just chalk it up to new technology and wait for them to iron out the glitches?

Re: Glitches?

The phone itself seems to be pretty good.  I just had another feature disappointment though.  I upgraded the SD card to a 8GB to hold my music.  I have about 3.5GB of music.  The PC based media manager downloaded it fine to the phone but then the music application on the phone gives me an error message saying the maximum number of songs is exceeded and to please remove some songs.

Re: Glitches?

I just upgraded to 4 on my SD and thought that was the limit.

You were able to successfully upgrade to 8? Interesting.

Anyways..I have had very little problems with mine.

No noices like the one person mentioning above.

To get information out of my Micro SD card obviously  I do not pluging the phone to my computer, I have an micro sd card reader. Works like a charm.

Anyways...sometimes I do think that the battery should last a little longer but hey whatever.

GPS works like a charm. I was traveling from Florida to New York and used my GPS and it worked like a charm!!!

It even told me if there was heavy traffic so it diverted me from it and took me back to the same parkway after having passed the deadlock. I am very happy with this phone.

Now if I only could get my Optonline email to work would be nice.

Re: Glitches?

as far as periodic freeze-ups and lagging; this is totally expected in a phone of such technology, so we'll just have to wait for them to be smoothened out, but the radio sound?? im not too sure about that...about the service, i notice it is weak when i am using data, dont know if anyone else has noticed that? Sprint's media manager SUCKS, so as stated above, get your hands on a card reader and just transfer songs onto the music folder on your micro sd....worked like a charm for me too =]
