I emailed Sprint for information with the phone and expressed my desire for the camera to be at least 3MP.  With the size of the Storage card being given with the phone, photo quality should be paramount.  I hope they take my suggestion since the release is around June.  Maybe it's too late to make that hardware possible in production now.
