So, I have a 6700 and it's been dying on me for a little over a year including a warranty exchange. So today I decide that I am going to see if they will upgrade me to the 6800 mogul since it's sunny and Friday and all :) I call and the girl actually is going to send me a 6800 with a new charger and another battery !! According to Sprint customer service whom I called first and inquired about upgrading they said that it would be about 299 but I would have to wait until Mid june for my contract to expire to get the full benefit of the rebate. Along with this rebate comes another 24 months of handcuffs to sprint though. I like Sprint but I really don't like being handcuffed to anything, haha. Now, here is the cool part, the sprint person after speaking to her about upgrading gave me the idea to just use my insurance coverage to get the upgrade. You do of course have to pay the 50 dollar deductible that goes with the policy though, but that's it. I saved 249 bucks !! I was actually having issues with the power connector on the phone so it's all on the up and up but I can't believe how nice they were at sprint and the insurance place. So now I will have my Mogul for a couple months until I try the new instinct I guess :)
